As CREATE. continues to evolve and grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. If you have experience supporting one or more Project Managers and coordinating multiple departments and site positions at the same time, we want you to apply!
The Project Coordinator is responsible for effective project administration and operations support. Your responsibilities will include preparing, issuing, and tracking RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and change notices; preparing schedules; participating in project meetings; and, resolving technical issues and establishing and maintaining communication between all parties, to name a few.

What were looking for on the resume:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator preferably in the commercial construction industry with significant experience on-site with an aptitude for records management and operational processes
- Multi-family construction experience is an asset
- Technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET or comparable); Engineering degree is an asset
- The ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge and skills of the commercial construction process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud software and MS Project is an asset
- Estimating experience is an asset
- Financial forecasting, projections and cash flow
In the interview process well be looking for evidence of:
- An understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts
- An ability to communicate verbally; easy to follow and with confidence
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to track, evaluate and assess results of a project
- The ability to manage internal and external contractors and trades
- A willingness to take feedback and grow (not wilt)
- The ability to be a pro-active self-starter, hard working, and to think ahead and anticipate others needs
