Monarch Academy is growing! We are currently hiring for two full-time teaching positions:

Position title - Kindergarten & Elementary Teachers
Salary - $50,000 - 65,000/year

Location - Monarch Academy – Toronto & Oakville Campuses

  • Kindergarten Teacher – Toronto (Monarch Academy – Toronto location (5734 Yonge Street, Unit 500)
  • Elementary Teacher – Oakville (Monarch Academy – Oakville location (1405 North Service Road East, Unit 103)

Start Date - Mid-August 2025

What You'll Do

As a Monarch Academy teacher, you'll be a key member of an interdisciplinary team working to support each child's academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities include

  • Planning and delivering individualized, developmentally appropriate lessons, following the Ontario curriculum
  • Collaborating closely with Behaviour Therapists, and receiving consultation from Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists
  • Supporting self-regulation and communication skills in the classroom
  • Contributing to student support plans and goal tracking
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with families

What We're Looking For

  • Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), in good standing
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting neurodiverse learners
  • Experience or interest in special education, autism, or behavioural needs
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
