The Opportunity
Leavitt Cranes is looking for an organized Shop Coordinator to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As the Shop Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing Service jobs from start to finish, including scheduling and directing work for Technicians, and ensuring customer expectations are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Shop Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:
Organize and manage Service jobs from beginning to end, including scheduling work for Technicians
Provide customers with quotes and recommendations for additional services
Communicate with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are optimized and customer requirements are managed proactively
Communicate professionally and consistently with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Review Work In Progress reports and bill applicable service calls to customers
Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and Rentals team members
Manage work orders in the ERP system
Assist with the shipping and receiving of shop supplies and equipment
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
Previous work experience in a comparable role, including prior experience with coordinating and scheduling tasks
Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
A customer-oriented mindset
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in parallel
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
Confident self-starter and team player

The base pay range for this role is: $65,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
This is an onsite role based in Calgary, Alberta.
