Accountabilities:
- Drive sponsorship sales for a portfolio of large-scale B2B events across North America.
- Sell both virtual and in-person event sponsorship packages using proven sales methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through calls, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
- Identify, pitch, and tailor sponsorship opportunities to meet client goals and maximize value.
- Cultivate new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sponsored event deliverables.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in sponsorship, events, media, or advertising.
- Degree-level education is an asset, but a passion for sales and a proactive attitude are just as important.
- Strong ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with senior decision-makers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-focused presence.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.
- Interest or background in large-scale events, entertainment, or corporate functions is a plus.
- Creative thinker with strong initiative and a team-oriented mindset.
