We are a well-established general contractor based in Vaughan, Ontario, specializing in the construction of institutional and commercial buildings, including healthcare facilities, corporate offices, and automotive dealerships. With a strong reputation for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, we are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of projects across the GTA.

Role Overview:

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager and site teams in planning, organizing, and delivering ICI construction projects on time and within budget. This is a full-time, office-based role with regular site visits, suitable for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow into a Project Management role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and managing project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs

  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders

  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Track project documentation and ensure proper filing and version control

  • Support tendering and contract award processes

  • Monitor project milestones and follow up on outstanding items

  • Assist with site instructions, meeting minutes, and progress reports

  • Attend site meetings and maintain clear communication between site and office

  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Junior PM role within the ICI construction sector

  • Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and healthcare or commercial construction standards

  • Proficient with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
