We are a well-established general contractor based in Vaughan, Ontario, specializing in the construction of institutional and commercial buildings, including healthcare facilities, corporate offices, and automotive dealerships. With a strong reputation for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction, we are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of projects across the GTA.
Role Overview:The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager and site teams in planning, organizing, and delivering ICI construction projects on time and within budget. This is a full-time, office-based role with regular site visits, suitable for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow into a Project Management role.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing and managing project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs
Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Track project documentation and ensure proper filing and version control
Support tendering and contract award processes
Monitor project milestones and follow up on outstanding items
Assist with site instructions, meeting minutes, and progress reports
Attend site meetings and maintain clear communication between site and office
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety standards
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Junior PM role within the ICI construction sector
Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and healthcare or commercial construction standards
Proficient with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
