Focused on addressing the prevalent issue of mental health distress among youthparticularly those systematically excluded from mental health dialogue and actionwe continuously adapt our programming to reflect the diverse realities of young people across Canada. Our approach centers on upstream prevention of mental distress and the promotion of lasting mental well-being.
As our Francophone Programs Lead,youll ensure that Francophone youth across the country are meaningfully supported by Jack.orgs programs and outreach. Youll implement strategic initiatives, foster community partnerships, support with internal translations as needed, and advocate for culturally and linguistically relevant programming to expand our reach and deepen our impact in Francophone communities.

Status: Full-Time, 13-Month Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)

- Bilingual in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Strong understanding of the needs, challenges, and cultural contexts of Francophone youth in Canada
- Strategic and collaborative, with experience building partnerships and leading cross-functional projects
Your Impact
As Francophone Programs Lead, youll drive the implementation of Jack.orgs Francophone strategy, ensuring that our work meaningfully engages and reflects the diverse realities of Francophone youth across Canada. You'll support and shape content, partnerships, and programming in an effort to expand our reach and impact.
Youll collaborate with internal teams to embed Francophone perspectives across programs and lead outreach and engagement efforts within Francophone communities. From attending community events to co-developing culturally appropriate resources, your work will help ensure that Francophone youth are not left out of the mental health conversation.
Key Responsibilities
Francophone Strategy & Community Engagement (40%)
- Implement Jack.orgs Francophone strategy and coordinate initiatives across departments
- Develop and maintain partnerships with Francophone organizations, leaders, and communities
- Represent Jack.org at Francophone community events, conferences, and forums
Program Support & Integration (25%)
- Ensure Francophone perspectives and content are integrated across all Jack.org programs
- Contribute to content development and delivery across Jack Talks, Community, Be There, Black Youth programming, and the Indigenous portfolio
- Provide additional support in translating internal documents from English to French.
Digital Strategy & Communications (10%)
- Collaborate with the marketing team on Francophone social media and community engagement
- Co-create and adapt communications to meet regional and cultural nuances
Monitoring, Evaluation & Funding Support (15%)
- Track and report on the effectiveness of Francophone programming
- Support the development of grant proposals and reports for Francophone-focused funding opportunities
Ongoing Learning & Collaboration (10%)
- Stay informed on trends, policies, and emerging issues in the Francophone landscape
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inclusive, aligned, and impactful program delivery
What Youll Bring
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
- Minimum 2 years experience in program implementation, community engagement, or a related role
- Proven success developing partnerships with stakeholders in the Francophone ecosystem
- Strong knowledge of Francophone youth realities, including regional nuances and minority-language rights
- Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to equity and inclusion
- Public speaking ability and comfort representing an organization in both languages
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Google Suites, Salesforce, and Asana
