Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our timber frame team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing log and timber structures, or regular framing construction. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Fabricate and install wooden structures such as pavilions, gazeboes, porches, timber frame homes and log homes
- Apply finishes to timbers and woodwork
- Utilize advanced power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Carefully construct structural elements with engineered plans
- Collaborate with other trades on site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during construction activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment related to carpentry.
- Understanding of carpentry math and roof construction
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
