Position Overview: Production Manager


The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing residential and commercial
painting projects from start to finish. This includes managing painters, scheduling jobs,
ensuring high-quality work, coordinating with clients, and ensuring every project runs
smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities


Project Management

  • Coordinate project schedules and team assignments
  • Communicate daily with painters and clients
  • Perform quality control checks at each stage of the project
  • Handle last-minute changes, touch-ups, or service calls


Client Communication

  • Be the client's primary point of contact during the project
  • Set clear expectations before and during the project
  • Provide regular updates and ensure client satisfaction


Team Leadership

  • Lead and support a team of painters
  • Ensure job sites are well-prepared and organized
  • Encourage productivity, professionalism, and teamwork


Logistics & Organization

  • Order and deliver paint/materials
  • Confirm the scope of work and jobsite readiness before painting begins
  • Track job progress, issues, and completion details using internal systems


Content Support

  • Capture before/during/after photos for social media and marketing
  • Coordinate with marketing for reviews and project highlights

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience in project coordination, construction, painting, or operations
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and competing priorities
  • Comfortable using technology (email, project management apps, Google Drive)
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (ability to transport ladders)

Work Environment & Schedule

  • This is a full-time, field-based role
  • Typical hours: 8 AM – 5 PM (some flexibility may be required)
  • Work is primarily within the Greater Toronto Area
  • Some light physical tasks (e.g., ladder transport, materials pick-up)
