We are hiring a Journeyman HVAC/Gasfitter Installer to take full ownership of all HVAC and mechanical scopes on our multi-family residential construction projects, including mid-rise apartment buildings and purpose-built rental developments. This role involves installing and overseeing the full mechanical system lifecycle—from rough-in through to final commissioning—while ensuring all work is fully permitted, code-compliant, and aligned with project timelines. You'll serve as our in-house HVAC lead, coordinating closely with site supers, trades, and project managers to deliver efficient, high-quality installations across our Edmonton-based job sites.

$104,750 plus bonus

• Install, commission, and maintain HVAC and ventilation systems (including furnaces, rooftop units, HRVs, ductwork, and controls)
• Pull all required permits and coordinate inspections with local authorities
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and HVAC schematics
• Supervise junior technicians and subcontracted HVAC trades
• Ensure compliance with the Alberta Building Code, gas code, and mechanical code
• Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently and proactively
• Maintain job site safety and cleanliness per OH&S standards
• Provide input on HVAC design improvements and cost-saving measures when required

• Journeyman Certification in HVAC or Gasfitting (A or B Ticket required)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with residential or multi-family HVAC installs
• Experience pulling permits and working with city inspectors in Alberta
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license (company vehicle or allowance provided)
• Strong working knowledge of Alberta mechanical and gas codes
• Ability to work independently and lead small teams on-site
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
