This ideal candidate will be responsible for handling full-cycle accounting and broad financial operations, ensuring the integrity of accounting practices. The client is growing quickly and the role will evolve significantly over time. Skilled, adaptable and sharp is critical. As a team player, you must be able to pivot quickly!
Salary:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour

8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Performing a broad range of full-cycle accounting tasks, along with additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Record ongoing transactions in the accounting system, such as supplier invoices, billings to customers, and payroll payments to employees.
- Handle project reporting, forecasting, collections, invoicing and payroll.
- Liaise with projects managers, procurement team, executive management, and external providers (e.g. benefits company).
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers. Manage real-time document control of all transactions.
- Match purchase orders with invoices. Monitor office expenses as well as tally and enter cash receipts.
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management and ownership.
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, as well as balance sheets.
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
- Manage general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Ideally 2-4 years of experience with extensive and relevant experience in full-cycle Accounting.
- Experience in accounts receivables, accounts payables, bank reconciliation, budgeting, account analysis, payroll, etc is important (full-cycle).
- Quickbooks (preferably Online) experience is required.
- The ability to pivot easily, shift between tasks, and keep up with evolving priorities is a must!
- Being technically adept is critical. You will be working in a quickly growing company with a focus on making processes better.
- To step right in and confidently handle project reporting, forecasting, collections, invoicing and payroll is key.
- Must be capable of working with multiple parties, including executive management and external providers. Strong communication is crucial.
- High level of attention to detail combined with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with a small team, while maintaining the component of fun!
