Reporting to the Head of Treasury & Banking, Finance Administrator role is responsible for the coordination of all Cash Management activities related to cash, credit card and gift card reconciliation as well as other related tasks across multiple brands.
What you will do in this role:
Daily bank reconciliation related to cash & credit cards
Daily reports and file uploads into reconciliation system
Communication with bank, credit card companies, restaurants and internal departments on an ongoing basis for inquiries and to resolve discrepancies
Weekly booking of journal entries
Month-end activities with tight deadlines
Monthly and Quarterly reconciliation & analysis of Gift Card liability
New location/Franchised/Closed locations banking set up administration
Backup to other Finance Administrators within Banking Department
Other banking duties, as required
What we are looking for from you:
Minimum 2 years Accounts Reconciliation experience, specifically related to store deposits and the related banking transactions, using reconciliation software as well as experience with online Banking platforms
Strong Excel & Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets) (intermediate level) and computer skills a must
JDE experience is an asset
College and/or University education is an asset
Enrollment in CPA program, a plus
Self-driven and results-oriented
Restaurant industry experience is an asset
Ability to think big picture and outside of the box
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to interact with internal and external stakeholders
Strong customer service mindset
