We are currently looking for a Staffing Coordinator to support our Human Capital team. This position plays an essential role in coordinating temporary staffing needs and providing day-to-day HR support. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career looking to gain experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily and weekly scheduling of temporary staffing to meet production needs.
  • Serve as the main contact between Belvika and temporary staffing agencies.
  • Register and track agency staff in the time and attendance system.
  • Monitor and resolve clock-in/out issues or attendance discrepancies.
  • Share weekly staffing reports with supervisors and HR.
  • Support production supervisors with agency performance and attendance tracking.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring documentation is complete.
  • Help coordinate health & safety training and maintain compliance records.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and records in the HR system.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support hourly recruitment efforts (job postings, screening, interviews).
  • Help with HR administrative tasks, data entry, and internal reporting.
  • Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in staffing coordination, HR administration, or recruitment (experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is an asset).
  • Solid understanding of Ontario employment legislation and health & safety requirements.
  • Comfortable working with staffing agencies and managing schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems is an asset.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
