KalSoft is currently looking for a Project Manager to come and join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in a hybrid work environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project governance, management, and delivery excellence across various project lifecycles and methodologies. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Drive stakeholder engagement, manage expectations, and ensure transparent communication throughout the project.

• Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams, including internal resources and third-party vendors.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, client standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Produce detailed reports and dashboards for executive-level presentations and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Canadian residents based in the GTA apply only.

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in project management roles.

• PMP®, PRINCE2®, or Scrum Master certification required.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects with large budgets and distributed teams.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Expertise in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
