YouwillworkingintandemwithanothersafetycoordinatorandreporttotheDirectorofHR.

-Orientations

-Crewtalks

-WorkSafeliaison

-Onthefloorhazardidentification,riskassessments

-Maintainingandupdatingsafetyliteratureandhandbooks

-Weekly,monthly,annualOHSreporting
-Managingdisabilitymanagementprocess
(investigations,returntowork,communicationwithmedicalprofessionals)

-Reviewsorprogramsandproceduresandprovidingmanagementwithadvice

-ManagingCORprogram,confinedspace,fallprotection,firesafetyplans

-Supervisionofsafetyaudits

-Otherrelatedduties

Requirements

-3-5yearsHealthandSafetyexperience

-CompletionofrecognizedOHSpost-secondaryprogram

-Workhistoryisprimarilyfull-timeemploymentbased,notcontract/consultant

-Comfortworkingatsitelevelandinofficeenvironment

-Abilitytogainrespectandworkcollaborativelywithtradespeople,
officestaff,andexternalstakeholders

-Manufacturingindustryexperience

-HighlyorganizedandcompetentwithMSwordandexcel

-StronginterpersonalskillsincludingclearcommandofverbalandwrittenEnglish

-LegallyentitledtoworkforanyemployerinCanada

-CertifiedRegisteredSafetyProfessionaldesignation

-OccupationalFirstAidLevel3accreditation
