Giatec Scientific Inc. (Giatec) is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Co-op to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician Co-op, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the field of electro-mechanical systems. This internship is designed to provide you with practical knowledge and exposure to various aspects of system design, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and installation of electro-mechanical systems
• Support the testing and debugging of electronic components
• Document and report findings to senior technicians and engineers
• Collaborate with team members to improve system efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an engineering or technical program at a post-secondary institution
  
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
