Your Role and Impact

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for all sales activities in the Western Canadian region. The RSM will build relationships, manage and engage with partners/resellers and end-user customers, and drive channel, corporate, and education sales. The RSM will proactively find, target, quantify, sell, and support the entire range of ViewSonic's visual solutions, taking a lead sales role for the region, with a key focus in creating awareness and demand for ViewSonic's the entire range of ViewSonic products to K-12 and Higher Education accounts, as well as being responsible for all sales activities in support of named Regional & National AV (Audio/Video) Channel Partner(s). The preferred candidate will reside in the Western Canadian region (Calgary, AB) supported by a well-established national sales team.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and grow key accounts across AV, Education, and Corporate verticals by identifying new opportunities, conducting targeted outreach, nurturing relationships, and positioning ViewSonic solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and distributor field representatives to strengthen ViewSonic's presence in the region, gain insights into the reseller landscape, and develop strategic go-to-market plans.
  • Identify and strategically target high-potential end-user accounts in assigned territories, launching tailored programs to increase engagement, improve communication, and position ViewSonic as the preferred technology brand across AV and Education sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, resellers, and partners to support strategic initiatives and long-term business growth.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations, live demonstrations, and training sessions to both end-users and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of ViewSonic's hardware, software, and service offerings.
  • Become a subject matter expert on ViewSonic's full suite of solutions, including hardware, software, and professional development offerings, to effectively support customer needs.
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual marketing plans in collaboration with the Channel Marketing team; manage ADF (Advertising Development Funds) investments and implement account-based strategies to maximize ROI and partner engagement, while maintaining accurate Salesforce pipeline reports and rolling forecasts to support sales planning and visibility.
  • Provide regular competitive updates on pricing, product offerings, promotions, and services to inform internal teams and refine sales strategies.
  • Oversee inventory levels, returns, stock adjustments, and credit memos to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and work with corporate teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Build and leverage internal and external partnerships to enhance collaboration, drive results, and maximize territory effectiveness.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools and insights to optimize education sales strategies, improve targeting, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Represent ViewSonic at local, regional, and national trade shows, conferences, and marketing events to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to team success and organizational goals.

Your Profile

  • 4 year Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the technology product industry, including experience with end-users at director level, AV integrators, and national resellers
  • Candidates must possess experience in sales through reseller channels
  • Candidates with vendor experience preferred
  • Possess a mature demeanor, entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter with the ability to make a substantial number of calls, handle a high volume of activity, and maintain a continuing fast pace
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Accustomed to business travels and field work at 40% or greater
  • Passion for technology

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office Presence: 40% travel; mostly in assigned territory with some nationwide travels
  • Environment: As this is a field sales position, the environment is usually on the road visiting customers and prospects. Home office is the standard office environment.
  • Physical Effort: Work requires frequent physical demands in terms of maintaining a continuous pace of business travels, and maneuvering and setting up demo equipment.
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
