Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a confident, experienced, and passionate General Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a dynamic upscale hospitality venue. As a key leader, you will oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, drive financial performance, enhance the guest experience, and foster a positive, service-driven culture. This is a hands-on role that combines on-the-floor leadership with strategic business oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and manage all staff including servers, bartenders, kitchen, and security teams
  • Cultivate a team culture rooted in accountability, hospitality, and collaboration
  • Oversee all facets of service, from guest reservations to end-of-night close
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Monitor service standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Engage with guests to build loyalty and ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, special events, and campaigns
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
  • Analyze and report on financial performance (P&L, expenses, revenue)
  • Implement cost controls and drive profitability without compromising quality
  • Work alongside ownership/upper management on operational strategy and planning
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years in a General Manager or equivalent leadership role in a full-service restaurant or hospitality venue
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop a high-performing team
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Proficient in financial operations, including budgeting and P&L statements
  • Comfortable with modern restaurant technology (POS, scheduling, inventory software)
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bonus: Experience in nightlife, private events, or premium dining environments
