About the RoleWe are seeking detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Associates to join our Quality Assurance team. In this hands-on role, you will ensure that finished products meet strict quality standards within a manufacturing environment, ideally in co-packing operations. You will be cross-trained across multiple production lines and play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect finished goods according to job specifications and quality standards.
  • Complete quality assurance documentation throughout the production process.
  • Maintain and update inspection criteria, QC procedures, and related process documentation.
  • Verify issuance of correct materials to production lines.
  • Investigate and document non-conformances and quality discrepancies for finished products and incoming materials.
  • Conduct production sample inspections before product release.
  • Temporarily halt production lines when quality issues arise and collaborate with Line Leads to resolve them.
  • Support GMP compliance during assembly, packing, co-packing, and testing operations.
  • Provide technical guidance to Line Leads and production teams regarding quality standards.
  • Escalate quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within QC processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience:
  • High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of quality control or manufacturing experience, preferably in a co-packing or similar environment.
  • Training or education in Quality Assurance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an asset.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect defects and inconsistencies.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and packaging.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document inspection results clearly and report quality issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player.
  • Basic computer literacy (experience with documentation systems is preferred).

Additional Information
