Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) is one of Canadas three main institutes for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, our world-renowned researchers drive fundamental and applied research at the University of Alberta (and other academic institutions), training some of the worlds top scientific talent. About the Role

The Program Coordinator will support the AI Literacy Platform and the deployment of AI and ML learning assets on the AI Literacy platform. This platform is critical as Amii expands its AI and ML content to meet the needs of its target audiences.

Reporting to the Manager, AI Literacy, the Program Coordinator is a key member of the Training team, actively participating in the execution of Amiis business functions. This position focuses on driving program development and growth while providing an exceptional client experience and contributing to the team's overall success.

This is a full time temporary position with an end date of March 31, 2028.

Required Skills / Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports end-to-end delivery of the customer experience for clients accessing our AI and ML content on the AI Literacy Platform
  • Ensures an exceptional client experience through timely and clear communication
  • Support the development of custom learning paths in the platform
  • Support the curation of AI and ML content aligned with specific learning paths
  • Coordinates internal tools and resources related to the AI literacy platform
  • Captures and monitors, and evaluates program performance through metrics and feedback, identifying areas for improvement
  • Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of program and product execution
  • Adapts and manages shifting priorities effectively based on evolving program requirements, team dynamics, and client needs
  • Collects feedback from stakeholders and participants to support the evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and products
  • Tracks and reports on client satisfaction metrics to support the identification of areas for improvement
  • Acts as a go-to resource for other product teams and departments for Amiis AI Literacy Platform
  • Facilitates interactions and cooperation between different teams to ensure smooth workflow and information exchange
  • Helps manage team communication channels, such as emails, messaging platforms, and collaborative tools

Required Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, or related field (nice to have)
  • 2+ years experience in program coordination or project management (nice to have)
  • Experience working within a technology-focused organization (nice to have)
  • Experience working with MOOC, CRM, LMS platforms
