Account Manager
Location: Mississauga, ON (Full time in office)
Compensation: $70,000 base salary + benefits & bonus up to 5%
Our client is a national leader in service-based solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors. As they continue to grow their North American footprint, they are seeking an experienced and highly organized Account Manager to join their team. This role is a blend of strategic relationship management, operational coordination, and client support.
Reporting to the VP, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building client relationships, and can expertly manage the full lifecycle of service and equipment projects. Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Success
- Own and grow a portfolio of national and regional accounts
- Serve as the key point of contact between clients and internal teams (Sales, Service, Operations, Marketing)
- Develop account strategies that drive retention, satisfaction, and service contract growth
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and annual service budgets tailored to client needs
- Attend client meetings and deliver updates, KPIs, and strategic recommendations
- Monitor account health, usage, and performance metrics
Customer Support & Communication
- Manage all day-to-day client communication and service-related inquiries
- Respond promptly to escalations, ensuring quick and effective resolution
- Support clients with platform navigation, documentation, and post-service follow-up
- Coordinate with internal teams and AR to resolve invoice or payment concerns
Project Coordination & Execution
- Manage quoting, work order creation, scheduling, and equipment logistics
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for service delivery and documentation compliance
- Oversee project execution from start to finish, including PM programs and RFPs
- Support post-service reviews, warranty tracking, and service quality follow-ups
Sales Enablement & Admin
- Maintain CRM with up-to-date contact records and account details
- Conduct lead research and support expansion of existing accounts
- Track competitive intelligence and stay informed on industry trends
- Provide administrative support as needed to ensure seamless client service
Qualifications:
- 25 years of experience in account management, customer success, or service operations
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) and quoting systems
- Experience in commercial services, facilities management, or construction environments is an asset
- PMP certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently
