Our client, a leading provider in the industrial products sector, is seeking a Full-Time Branch Manager for their Alberta location.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Edmonton branch operations, managing staff, and driving regional sales performance. This role is open due to an internal promotion and is key to supporting the company's continued growth in Canada and North America.

Candidate Requirements

  • Industry Background: Preferred experience in scaffolding or a related industrial sector
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role

As the Branch Manager you will be accountable for ongoing customer satisfaction, profitability and efficiency that is driven by the branches regional operations, sales and administration activities, with a focus on safety. You will be focused on gaining market share and expanding our footprint throughout the region. Ultimately your effective leadership will be the key to the ongoing success of the branch.

Branch Manager duties include:

  • Profit & Loss Responsibility
  • HS&E responsibility
  • Annual budget development and execution
  • Quarterly forecasting of inventory requirements
  • Business strategy development and execution
  • Business data analysis to assist in day to day decisions
  • Managing employee performance
  • Dispute resolution (customers, vendors and employees)
  • Develop and manage regional supply chain activities (procurement, logistics & vendor relations)
  • Effective communication to internal stakeholders at organizational various levels

Desired Qualifications:

  • A Leader by example
  • Progressive experience in direct sales (2+ yrs) and management (2+ yrs)
  • Proven supervisory, leadership, and communication skills within a team environment
  • Sound working knowledge of the Canadian industrial markets
  • Excellent customer relationship management and relationship development skills
  • Computer proficiency: ability to extract, understand, manipulate data.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency
  • Experience within managing assets in both a rental and sales capacity
