Our client, a prominent regional accounting firm based in British Columbia, is seeking an experienced Manager to join their Public Company division. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team, manage complex engagements for public company clients, and play an active part in the development and success of your team. • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six, setting clear expectations for both company and clients.
  
• Guide training and professional development efforts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  
• Coordinate and oversee complex accounting, advisory, and assurance projects across departments.
  
• Simultaneously manage multiple advisory and assurance engagements for public company clients.
  
• Champion the firm's quality control standards and support firm-wide initiatives.
  
• Participate actively in team development and performance management programs.
  

• CPA designation with at least 5 years' post-designation experience in public practice.
  
• Extensive audit and assurance expertise, with strong knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards, US GAAP, PCAOB, CAS, and IFRS.
  
• Current or recent experience at a CPA firm in Canada (hybrid work arrangement in Vancouver required).
  
• 1–2 years' experience managing a team in a CPA firm; minimum 3 years' experience in coaching or
  
• mentoring capacity.
  
• Strong track record of client development and relationship management.
  
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects on tight deadlines.
