- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of six, setting clear expectations for both company and clients.
- Guide training and professional development efforts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Coordinate and oversee complex accounting, advisory, and assurance projects across departments.
- Simultaneously manage multiple advisory and assurance engagements for public company clients.
- Champion the firm's quality control standards and support firm-wide initiatives.
- Participate actively in team development and performance management programs.
Requirements
- CPA designation with at least 5 years' post-designation experience in public practice.
- Extensive audit and assurance expertise, with strong knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards, US GAAP, PCAOB, CAS, and IFRS.
- Current or recent experience at a CPA firm in Canada (hybrid work arrangement in Vancouver required).
- 1–2 years' experience managing a team in a CPA firm; minimum 3 years' experience in coaching or
- mentoring capacity.
- Strong track record of client development and relationship management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects on tight deadlines.
