The Orthopaedic Therapy Clinic is seeking a dynamic, passionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to take over an existing caseload and continue to grow professionally. Our new location at 145 King St W (conveniently near St. Andrew Subway Station and connected to the PATH) allows us to serve Toronto's downtown core with greater accessibility and impact.

About the Role

We're looking for an RMT with a strong interest in treating clients recovering from:

· Mechanical low back pain

· Herniated discs

· Post-surgical recovery (spine, hips, knees, shoulders)

· Scoliosis (adults and adolescents)

You'll work alongside our team of experienced physiotherapists and a kinesiologist, offering the opportunity to learn, grow, and expand your clinical skills in a supportive environment.

What You'll Bring:

· Your own massage tools and supplies (e.g., massage lotion, cupping sets, acupuncture needles, gloves)

· Willingness to continue learning and expanding your clinical skillset

Requirements:

· Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)

· Solid understanding of orthopaedic conditions and terminology

· Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach

· Proficiency in techniques such as deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point massage, craniosacral therapy

· Certification in acupuncture or dry needling is a strong asset

· Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment

· Collaborative spirit and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

· Accurate and timely charting in compliance with privacy regulations

Position Details:

· Part-time (2-3 days/week), with opportunity to grow to full-time

· Existing client caseload ready to inherit

Available Shifts:

· Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM

· Thursday: 8 AM – 7 PM

· Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Potential Additional Shifts:

· Tuesday: 8 AM – 1 PM

Shift times and length are flexible and can be discussed to suit your availability.

Next Steps:
Successful candidates will be asked to provide a 20-minute sample massage during the interview to demonstrate hands-on skills.
