We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Paint Technician to join our team and help maintain the highest standards in equipment appearance and finish quality.

Position Overview:
The Auto Body Paint Technician will be responsible for preparing and refinishing forklifts and related equipment in a dedicated spray booth environment. This includes surface preparation, priming, color matching, spraying, and final finishing work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare forklift surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as required

• Mix and match paint colors accurately to achieve correct finishes

• Operate HVLP and conventional spray equipment to apply coatings evenly

• Inspect painted surfaces for runs, sags, and finish imperfections, performing touch-ups as necessary

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized spray booth and work area

• Keep accurate records of paint use, jobs completed, and materials consumed

• Comply with safety protocols for handling paints, solvents, and equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an auto body painter or industrial refinishing technician (preferred)

• Proficiency with spray equipment and refinishing techniques

• Ability to mix and match paint colors

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

• Knowledge of health and safety standards related to painting and chemical use

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience

• Benefits package available after probationary period

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
