Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on all people-related matters.
- Align global HR strategies with business objectives, supporting organizational growth and performance.
- Guide and influence organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy in collaboration with senior leaders across all regions.
- Drive a culture of engagement, and high performance through transparent communication and aligned HR practices.
Global HR Operations & Compliance
- Lead and develop a high-performing global HR team to deliver consistent, high-impact support and service across all business units.
- Oversee HR operations across North and South America, ensuring compliance with provincial, state, and national labour laws (including Canada, U.S., and Latin America).
- Anticipate and mitigate employment related risk through sound policy development, investigation oversight, and issue resolution.
- Ensure all HR activities, including terminations, employee relations, and investigations, are managed with professionalism, integrity, and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, adapting to legislative and organizational changes.
Talent Acquisition, Development & Performance
- Oversee and refine end-to-end recruitment strategies
- Lead performance management programs and employee development planning in alignment with company goals.
- Support leadership training, succession planning, and employee growth initiatives to foster internal mobility and career advancement.
- Align total rewards and compensation strategies with market data and internal equity to attract and retain top talent.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Lead global compensation initiatives including bonus structures, salary benchmarking, pay band development, and payroll oversight.
- Partner with Finance on annual HR budgeting and workforce planning for all company entities.
- Manage benefits strategy and annual renewals; ensure alignment with employee needs and regional compliance.
- Oversee the processing of Canadian, U.S., and Latin American payrolls, ensuring accurate reporting and timely execution.
HR Operations & Organizational Reporting
- Ensure excellence in HR operations including onboarding/offboarding, HRIS data integrity and employee documentation.
- Maintain and analyze headcount reporting, organizational charts, and job descriptions to support strategic decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive HR leadership, with at least 7 years in a senior or executive-level role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; CHRL designation preferred.
- Functional Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience across all core HR disciplines including employee relations, performance management, recruiting, total rewards, L&D, and compliance.
- Global Acumen: Expertise in international HR practices and employment law, particularly in Canada, the U.S., and Latin America.
- Leadership: Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire global HR teams; skilled at mentoring and developing talent.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a trusted communicator who builds credibility at all levels.
- Operational Excellence: Results-driven and execution-focused with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Agility: Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Mobility: Willing and able to travel as needed to support global operations and leadership engagement.
The successful candidate will receive a conditional offer which will be contingent upon a successful background clearance obtained through our contracted third-party vendor.
