Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dry manufacturing company is recruiting for a detailed oriented and organized Maintenance Clerk for our office in Langley BC reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and documentation (e.g., work orders, service history).
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and dispatch work orders to appropriate staff or contractors.
- Order, receive, and track parts, tools, and supplies; maintain inventory levels.
- Assist with data entry and report generation related to maintenance activities and costs.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and other departments regarding service needs or issues.
- Ensure all maintenance files and digital records are organized and accessible.
- Support safety and compliance tracking by helping to maintain logs and inspection records.
- Assist in monitoring preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on overdue tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the maintenance team as required.
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years + of administrative or clerical experience; experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin is a must.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
