Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dry manufacturing company is recruiting for a detailed oriented and organized Maintenance Clerk for our office in Langley BC reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and documentation (e.g., work orders, service history).
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and dispatch work orders to appropriate staff or contractors.
  • Order, receive, and track parts, tools, and supplies; maintain inventory levels.
  • Assist with data entry and report generation related to maintenance activities and costs.
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and other departments regarding service needs or issues.
  • Ensure all maintenance files and digital records are organized and accessible.
  • Support safety and compliance tracking by helping to maintain logs and inspection records.
  • Assist in monitoring preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on overdue tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the maintenance team as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2 years + of administrative or clerical experience; experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
