Our client is an established company with multiple locations in Western Canada. Their customers are throughout the US and Canada marketplace. They have had success over several decades selling and servicing heavy industrial equipment for the pulp and paper, oil and gas, rail, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. Due to a promotion in the shop, their is currently a need to hire a heavy duty mechanic. In this role you will work Mon-Fri day shift, with overtimeand the role will be shop and field based. You will do a lot of work on engines and drivelines on mobile equipment. -3-7 years of heavy duty mechanic experience.-Minimum 3rd year apprentice heavy equipment technician-Demonstrated background working on drivelines and engines is highly beneficial.-Rebuild and overhaul experience an asset.-High mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge is valued.-Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities.-Great attitude, excellent communicator, person who exhibits leadership qualities.-Clear verbal and written English skills.-Ability to interact professionally and in a positive level headed manner with customers when required.
