WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
We are looking for a Producer to join our team at Next Level Games. The Producer will provide guidance and support for technical development and support teams. You will work with engineers, technical artists, and designers to deliver games that put smiles on the faces of people around the world.
This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week at our Vancouver studio.

  • Partner with the Level Design and Level Art leadership team to understand and balance priorities and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Directors and Leads to develop and communicate the creative vision and project roadmap.
  • Work with Directors and Leads to set Sprint and Milestone goals; Gather requirements and break down goals and feature designs into tasks and actionable plans.
  • Oversee the project schedule; Manage the team's assignments and capacity, track the progress and development of features, and maintain the task tracking database.
  • Create visibility and clarity by providing updates to stakeholders and external partners and keeping the team informed of the current goals and latest changes.
  • Facilitate creative problem solving to assist your team(s) to overcome obstacles, eliminate blockers, and devise effective and efficient development strategies.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and discussions so that teams can work effectively towards ambitious goals.
  • Identify areas for improvement in workflows and collaboration, and work with the team to implement positive changes.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Experience managing design initiatives and teams.
  • Shipped at least one AAA console game title and/or 3 + years of experience as a “Producer” in games.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across teams and disciplines.
  • Open to feedback and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience unifying teams and driving towards a common goal.
  • Experience with different production methodologies (waterfall, agile, devops, etc.)
  • Familiarity with all aspects of game development (design, art, and engineering)
  • Passion for video games

The hiring range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
