Salary: $24.42 per hour, plus $1.85 shift premium where applicable
Closing Date: July 14, 2025 at 4:30 PMPURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Reporting directly to the Property Supervisor, the Casual Labourer will be responsible for maintenance and repairs to various buildings and structures with a focus on external building repairs, drywall repairs and painting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Painting of various building locations and structures
- Minor electrical repairs such as light switches and outlets
- Minor renovation work involving drywall, wood and concrete structures
- Minor masonry repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs such as taps, toilets and showers
- Door and door hardware repairs

EDUCATION/TRAINING/SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class ‘G” Ontario Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions and perform physical labour
- Experience in building maintenance and repairs
- Carpentry, drywall and painting experience
- Experience with both power and hand tools
- General knowledge of plumbing and electrical an asset
- Pool and custodial experience considered an asset
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Customer service experience
- Candidates must have safety footwear
