Purpose of Job:

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team who is a high-achiever, disciplined, competitive, self-driven individual who thrives in a commission B2B sales environment that is looking to take their business development to another level with unlimited income potential! The incumbent is responsible for generating profitable growth by selling payment solutions to new users within an assigned territory. He/she acquires new relationships, while retaining and expanding existing ones through direct, face-to-face contacts. Payment platform supports businesses of all sizes to process payments and can authorize payment transactions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage an assigned territory and sell payment solutions to new customers
  • Acquire new business owner relationships and expand existing ones to achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Contact and visit prospective customers to uncover needs and present solutions with identified needs
  • Identify prospects using multiple channels including asking for referrals from existing customers, developing a network of community business contacts, and participating in marketing/educational seminars
  • Maintain and track sales progress to achieve or exceed objectives
  • Build and grow relationships with COIs
  • Negotiate fee structure for products and services within policy
  • Inform the customer of what to expect and when the service is set up for their use
  • Participate in sales meetings, skill-building sessions, and one-on-one coaching sessions
  • Adhere to compliance with regulatory activities and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • University/college degree focusing on marketing, accounting, finance, economics, or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of outside sales or business development experience with a proven track record of success
  • Industry or B2B sales experience is preferred
  • Home office and have a car for travel within the assigned territory
