We're looking for a Store Manager to be at the heart of the customer experience, receiving sales training and support that will set this store and its team apart and will bring these great digital brands to life in a retail environment.

In addition to its e-commerce business, Casper Canada has 6 Sleep Shops across the country and its products are available at a growing list of retailers. The newest addition to Sleep Country Canada's industry leading sleep brands, Casper Canada is continuing to grow its fantastic brand across the country.
Bringing these two sleep and wellness retailers in a powerful new concept to service our amazing customers!
As a Store Manager you will:
- Drive the growth and strategic initiatives as well as maximizing the sales efficiency and revenue potential of Sales Associates
- Motivate and provide clear direction, priorities and communication to the team so that goals and objectives are achieved
- Be responsible for the P&L performance, monitoring and assessing inventory levels to minimize carrying costs, reduce cost of goods and improve store productivity
- Create business driving strategies and Quarterly/Annual business plans, which may consist of identifying marketing opportunities, new selling/clienteling strategies, event calendars, sale target setting and regular business reviews with leadership
- Enhance the customer experience through building relationships and connecting them to our brand and brand values
- Address any escalated customer inquiries
- Manage, coach, train and develop the sales team and foster an environment of inspiration and empowerment
- Maintain staffing schedules and being responsive to any changes in business or traffic trends
- Ensure store standards are met (ie., health and safety, product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping)
- Provide best-in-class customer experience, helping customers with their inquiries
The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:
- At least 2+ years' sales experience, a record of strong store sales and demonstrated performance
- Excel in a team selling environment
- Ambitious, charismatic and passionate about people and sales
- A strong business acumen with the ability to achieve sales and deliver a great customer service experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating and developing a sales team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving time management and organizational skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships and trust with both internally and externally
- Tech savvy; it is an asset if knowledgeable in Mac and Google Suite systems, Zendesk or other help desk system, familiarity with Shopify or online store management systems
- Available to work days, evenings and weekends
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive commission + base pay salary.
