Your Day:
- Answering phone calls as they come in from existing patients and managing prospective patient inquiries
- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who comes through the door
- Responding to patient phone calls, emails and messages
- Scheduling appointments
- Preparing quotes
- Taking payments from patients and reconciling billing at the end of each day
- Managing and restocking office supplies and products
- Preparing medical testing requisitions, shipping and organizing patients test results
- Assisting the Medical Practitioner, Naturopathic Doctors, Nurses, Neurofeedback Technicians, and other team members in the clinic
The ideal candidate:
- Prior administrative office and/or medical billing experience
- Patient-oriented; top-notch customer and communication skills written and verbal
- High level of computer proficiency (G-Suite knowledge required)
- Ability to master multiple software programs and applications
- Professional and friendly demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, and able to function effectively without continuous direction
- Familiar with electronic health records (EHR) and billing systems
- Skilled at completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy in a busy environment
- Possesses trustworthiness
- Willingness to learn and team-work skills are required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
What to expect
- Part-time, permanent role. Afternoon/Evening and Saturdays 17-20 hours per week.
- Professional attire is required
- Hourly rate above current market value & bi-weekly pay
