Salary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to represent our polyacrylamide product line, specifically focused on tailings pond treatment in Albertas oil sands industry. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a strong network in Albertas mining and energy sector, and a proven track record in technical sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capture and expand market share in the oil sands and mining industry.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including operators, service providers, and environmental consultants.
  • Provide technical expertise on polyacrylamide applications for tailings pond treatment, solid-liquid separation, and water recovery.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to tailor solutions for customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape in Albertas oil sands sector.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the oil & gas, mining, or environmental industry.
  • Strong knowledge of polyacrylamide applications in tailings pond treatment.
  • Established network in Albertas oil sands sector (connections with operators, suppliers, and environmental agencies).
  • Proven track record of B2B sales, negotiations, and revenue generation.
  • Technical understanding of water treatment, chemical additives, and solid-liquid separation processes.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with oil sands operators and mining companies in Alberta.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for environmental treatment in Canada.
  • Ability to analyze market data and create targeted sales strategies.
