Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

Survalent Technology is looking for a dynamic, driven, and multi-talented marketing professional to bring fresh energy to our team as a Marketing Specialist. As part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in helping the team achieve its key strategic goals, including driving pipeline growth and qualified leads through the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead the team's podcast production, including working with internal and external stakeholders, managing the technology and recording, and completing post-production processes, including podcast editing. They will also be responsible for managing digital and print advertising projects. They will work collaboratively with the team to support company events, digital marketing campaigns, graphic design projects, and other initiatives as required. Experience with marketing automation software, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, advertising platforms, video editing, and podcast technology is required.

Responsibilities will be assigned according to priority and may include:

  • Advertising team lead: The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for evaluating channels and advertising options (e.g., LinkedIn, Google, industry publications); monitoring the budget and performance of the ads, keywords, and channels; and making recommendations for improving or removing underperforming ads. They will brief the writing team on content requirements, create graphic designs, and report on cost and performance.
  • Podcast team lead: The Marketing Specialist will own the podcast recording and delivery process, including managing speakers and schedules, recording, editing, and publishing, as well as creating social posts and teaser clips for promotional purposes.
  • Website: Upload, update, and organize website content.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly and ad-hoc marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from various systems.
  • Email Communications: Work with the Marketing Operations Manager to prepare and send emails and newsletters to tailored customer and prospect lists.
  • Events: Support event execution as assigned by the Marketing Events Manager. Tasks may include vendor evaluation and management, researching shipping and printing options, and liaising with hotel and event staff to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Press releases: Publish press releases to the wire and the company's website.
  • Graphic design: Format brochures, infographics, digital banners, and other graphic design content.
  • Ad hoc work: Assist the marketing team in executing projects, such as managing projects with vendors of promotional giveaways or entertainment; researching, enhancing, and managing lists for marketing campaigns and events.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
  • 4+ years' marketing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, marketing automation software (Marketo preferred), Salesforce, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Premiere, and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of HTML, WordPress, and marketing analytics tools/software
  • Expertise and continuous learning in digital advertising, video editing, and technology/channels, best practices, and performance KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
