Job Summary
The Compliance & Loss Prevention Coordinator supports the company's safety, environmental, and loss prevention programs. This role ensures compliance with health and safety laws, investigates incidents, and promotes a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain safety records, track incidents, and prepare reports.
Coordinate fire drills and assist with safety training and onboarding.
Monitor changes in health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
Maintain updated MSDS records and chemical tracking.
Investigate theft, damage, and policy violations.
Support access control, CCTV, and general security procedures.
Collaborate with HR and Operations to ensure compliance.
Assist during OHSA inspections and provide documentation.
Qualifications
Diploma or relevant experience in health & safety or compliance.
3+ years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or safety programs.
Knowledge of OHSA, security systems, and compliance standards.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Conditions
Office and warehouse environment.
Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Some local travel required.
Must be flexible with shift work.
