About The Role

We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst who will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization.

As the Junior Financial Analyst, you will ensure that the books of accounts are correct and questions regarding them are defined and answered.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist with the month end closing process

• Completion of account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and journal entry processing

• Complete intercompany analysis, expense allocation and verification

• Support the internal & external audit processes

• Complete financial Statement analysis, employee expenses

• Responsible for Accounts Payable duties

• Support the analysis, forecast, and budgeting of revenue and expenses

• Provide monthly variance analysis on, line of business financial reporting

• Prepare monthly GL account analyses and resolving any aged items

• Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned

What you will bring to the Company:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university

• CPA designation preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will also be considered

• 2-3 years of Finance experience in an analytical role

• Strong knowledge of balance sheet and income statements and their relationship

• Ability to problem-solve, analyze complex issues, develop appropriate action plans and delivers the results timely

• Preferred: Knowledge of AS400 system & NetSuite

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

• Comfortable with MS Excel advanced functions such as VLOOKUP's, INDEX, PIVOT TABLES

• Strong research, reporting, and analytical skills

• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels within the organization

• Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
