- Lead technical preparation of civil design documents for Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-Law Amendment, and/or Site Plan Approval applications.
- Perform and review design/analysis in storm and sanitary design, grading, water distribution, and stormwater management modeling for ICI and residential site development.
- Review functional servicing and stormwater reports.
- Identify and evaluate potential design solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, CAD technicians, clients, and consultants to align designs with project scope.
- Review and seal your own and others' design documents.
- Address reviewing agency comments on submitted civil documents.
- Participate in project team meetings and collaborate to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.
- 4–10 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.).
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and standards.
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience with hydraulic and hydrological software (e.g., MIDUSS NET, SWMHYMO, VO OTTHYMO, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS).
- Familiarity with municipal approvals in Southwestern Ontario (OPA, ZBA, SPA).
- Understanding of project management principles.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
