Job Description:

We are seeking a candidate with DZ experience in operating tandem axle straight trucks with heavy loads. The role involves the following responsibilities:

• Direct store delivery of processed meat products
• Maintain service quality by following organizational standards
• Provide on-site customer service
• Ensure company Health and Safety standards are met
• Exemplify the Company's dedication to customer service
• Ensure general account billing, receipt of payments, and record-keeping are completed accurately and timely
• Perform pre-trip inspections, daily logs, and reporting to ensure fleet standards are met
• Submit daily paperwork
• Manage inventory

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid DZ license with a clean driving abstract and over 2 years of DZ driving experience
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages typically weighing up to 50 lbs
• Capability to push and pull pallets of products while docked at customers using a pallet jack
• Ability to continuously lift, walk, and/or stand for most of the shift
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset, but not required
• Experience in LTL Freight
