Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

As the Property Administrator, you will be the day to day main point of contact for tenants within the commercial real estate income producing portfolio. Reporting directly to the Senior Property & Asset Manager, you will be responsible for tenant communications and administrative support of building leasing and operations.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the Senior Property & Asset Manager in the daily operations of the commercial portfolio
  • Administer property management transactions and activities including data entry, rent rolls, invoicing and payment approvals
  • Draft, distribute and track a variety of tenant-related correspondence and building notices
  • Support the Senior Property & Asset Manager on leasing and portfolio management reporting
  • Ensure all operations files, tenant files, tenant emergency contacts, insurance certificates, and service contracts are up to date
  • Proactively manage tenant service requests and building maintenance, including communication and coordination with tenants, Building Operator and subtrades
  • Manage tenant deposits, chargebacks, and charges / operating expenses per lease agreements
  • Support Senior Property & Asset Manager in arrears payment balances and collections

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior property management experience in a commercial environment
  • Computer skills with Office 365 and other industry standard software platforms
  • Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail and numbers
  • Excellent time management and organization skills in a deadline driven environment
  • Knowledge of general building maintenance and building systems considered an asset
  • Positive and professional attitude
