Successful candidate will apply firm practices to perform various types of engagements, including audit, review and tax return preparation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end working paper files and financial statements in audit and review engagements.
- Preparation of year-end working paper files and financial statements in compilation engagements.
- Preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns, and other types of returns as required.
- Working closely with staff at varying levels from Staff Accountant to Partner.
- Engaging with clients, as needed, to gather required information to complete assigned tasks.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- 0-2 years of public accounting firm experience an asset.
- Knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, Income Tax Act and Excise Tax Act is a must.
- Self-starter and results driven.
- Highly effective written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of CaseWare, Tax-prep or similar tax preparation software, iFirm and Doc.It is an asset.
- On route to the completion of the Canadian CPA designation/Completion of CFE.

Location
This is a hybrid remote position whereby successful candidate will be expected to work from our office located in Guelph, Ontario, 3 days per week and 2 days per week will be available for working from home. Approval of any remote work arrangement is in the sole discretion of the employer.
