Empower Me delivers multilingual education, support, and coaching services to ensure underrepresented communities have access to energy, climate, and home retrofit programs.

Community Power supports Indigenous Nations to build, renovate, and improve community housing.

Home Upgrades Program provides fully subsidized energy retrofits to improve affordability for households living in energy poverty.

About the Opportunity

Create Climate Equity (CCE), in collaboration with Kambo Energy Group, the Aboriginal Housing Management Association (AHMA), and BC Indigenous Housing Society (BCIHS), is launching Phase 2 of the Clean Mobility Pilot Program. This initiative is focused on delivering affordable and sustainable transportation options for urban Indigenous communities in Vancouver. Key components include educational workshops, ride-and-drive EV experiences, subsidized transit access, and an EV ride-share program.

We are seeking a passionate and organized Project Coordinator to coordinate and oversee the delivery of this initiative. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for operational leadership, inter-partner coordination, and managing the delivery of ride-share, transit and education streams. This role is key to ensuring that the program is responsive to the needs of the community and is executed on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.

Core Accountabilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of the three program streams.
  • Serve as the central coordinator between CCE, Kambo, AHMA, BCIHS, and MODO.
  • Collaborate with clean mobility specialists to develop educational content, workshops, and informational sessions.
  • Ensure community needs are reflected through resident feedback loops, incorporating input into pilot design and operations.
  • Setup and oversee logistics for Ride & Drive events
  • Develop and execute plans for EV infrastructure setup.
  • Develop ride-share communication, process and logistics.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding of an on-site Project Coordinator.
  • Support the transition of program ownership to AHMA and BCIHS by the end of the pilot period.
  • Collect data as required for the pilot.

Duration of Role

July 2025through August 31, 2026, a full-time role with an estimated 40 hours per week.
