About the Role:
Our member is hiring a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman (309A Licensed) to lead residential, commercial, and service electrical projects in Ottawa, ON, and the surrounding area. This is a full-time position with continuous work on 2–3 month projects, including new builds, retrofits, and large-scale service jobs.
Electrical Foreman – 309A Licensed

• Ottawa, ON
• Starting at $48/hour (higher based on experience)
• Full-Time | Projects range from 2–3 months (ongoing work)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead crews on residential and commercial sites
• Oversee installations, retrofits, and service upgrades
• Coordinate project timelines and ensure work is up to code
• Collaborate with GC's, trades, and clients on-site
• Train and mentor apprentices and electricians
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics

What We're Looking For:

• Valid 309A Electrical License (Ontario)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade
• Experience in residential, commercial, new construction, and service work
• Proven ability to supervise a team and manage timelines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Must live within 1 hour of Ottawa

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting at $48/hr, with higher rates based on experience

• RRSP contribution program (starting after 1 year): 4% in Year 1, 5% in Year 2, 6% in Year 3+
