At Smithers Community Services Association (SCSA), were looking for a Program Manager to lead our dynamic ELMS team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong people skills, a client-first mindset, and a deep commitment to supporting immigrant and refugee integration in a rural community setting.

Youll lead a dedicated team supporting newcomers on their immigration journey to Canada through English language classes, settlement services, and community-building programs. What Youll Do:

• Lead a passionate team delivering language and settlement services
• Build partnerships that support newcomer needs
• Manage budgets, funding, and reports
• Support staff and volunteers with care and coaching
• Champion diversity and inclusion

What You Bring:

• Strong people skills and a client-first mindset
• Experience in program or team management (formal or informal we value lived experience too)
• Interest in newcomer settlement, adult learning, or community development
• Ability to lead with heart, stay organized, and keep big-picture goals in sight
• A flexible, supportive leadership style
