This is an ideal role for a motivated lawyer with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, looking to deepen their expertise in a firm that prioritizes excellence, collaboration, and professional integrity.
What You'll Do:
Handle a variety of civil litigation and construction lien files from inception to resolution
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel with professionalism and clarity
Appear in court and advocate on behalf of clients in a range of civil matters
Draft legal documents, manage case strategy, and meet critical deadlines
Collaborate with a team of experienced legal professionals in a supportive, in-office environment
Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school
Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
2-5 years of hands-on experience in civil litigation and construction liens
Exceptional legal writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple files independently
