We are currently looking for a Computer Systems Analyst to join our IT team. The Computer Systems Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing computer systems to enhance the efficiency of manufacturing operations. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure systems align with business needs, improve workflow automation, and support data-driven decision-making.

What is the day in the life of a Computer Systems Analyst
- Analyze existing IT systems and manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement software and hardware solutions tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, production managers, and IT teams to integrate new technologies with existing systems.
- Ensure compatibility between manufacturing execution systems (MES), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and other business applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Design and implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data.
- Train employees on new systems, software, and best practices for technology use.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in manufacturing technology and system advancements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP, MES, and other manufacturing-related software.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT, and data analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience with cloud computing and cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Certifications such as Certified Systems Analyst (CSA) or similar credentials.
