About Us:

Invictus is a fast-growing group of companies revolutionizing snow removal, paving, and property services across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. We're building intelligent systems to streamline operations and deliver exceptional service — and we need a skilled AI Engineer to help lead the charge.

Role Overview:

We're seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to help design, develop, and deploy intelligent agents that automate workflows, improve customer engagement, and enhance decision-making. This is your chance to build practical AI tools with real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy AI agents for tasks such as customer interaction, sales support, scheduling, and routing

  • Integrate LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, etc.) with internal systems and APIs

  • Automate operational workflows using AI/ML models and rule-based agents

  • Work closely with leadership to define problems, solutions, and product roadmaps

  • Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, and test AI models for business-specific use cases

  • Monitor, improve, and maintain deployed systems

Required Skills:

  • Experience with AI/ML models, agents, and NLP (OpenAI API, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)

  • Strong Python skills and comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  • Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and building automation pipelines

  • Ability to move fast, iterate quickly, and work with minimal oversight

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience building AI tools for service-based or logistics businesses

  • Familiarity with CRM or dispatch platforms

  • Startup or growth-stage experience

Why Join Us?

  • Real-world applications with measurable outcomes

  • Direct access to decision-makers and leadership

  • Freedom to innovate and ship quickly

  • Opportunity to lead AI initiatives across multiple business units

Compensation:

Competitive salary or contract rate based on experience. Equity or bonus potential for the right long-term fit.
