Full time contract position for 12 month minimum with opportunity for 16-18 Months handling safety responsibilities on an industrial construction site near Saskatoon, SK. Job duties include being our daily safety representative specific to the BHP site in Jensen, SK. Job includes leading, advising crews in safety, doing safety related site paperwork, incident investigations, daily toolbox, attending meetings abiding and enforcing BHP site policies, etc. Following, advising and enforcing the Norwest safety manual and ensuring all workforce is doing as such. Working closely with and under the supervision and direction of the Norwest Site Superintendent at the Jensen site. Any serious safety matters to be reported as directed and working along with to the Site Superintendent and the Project Manager. Working with Structural steel or building envelope is an asset.
