Regional Sales Manager, Live Sound

JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT: Sales EFFECTIVE DATE: July 30, 2025

REPORTS TO: Director of Sales, Live Sound

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for Sound Reinforcement and Digital Mixing Console technical sales and business development for the North American market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive technical sales initiatives for PK Sound and AVID S6L Live Sound Products by being an educator within the industry, creating sales opportunities and partnering closely with production companies, designers / specifiers and end users.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by creating meaningful relationships to close profitable sales leads.
  • Work with various teams within the company to achieve pre- and post-sales success.
  • Educate potential customers on all PK & AVID products and software.
  • Maintain a CRM and provide Director of Sales weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline reports.
  • Work with upper management to forecast sales, inventory, and profitability.
  • Ensuring ACT Users adhere to best practices for deployment and use of live sound product portfolio
  • Analyze and gather information, respond to and resolve (or escalate to another department member) helpdesk tickets from company employees.
  • Attend industry trade shows, as required, to seek out new sales leads and identify new technologies available to our markets.
  • Travel throughout the territory scheduling in-person meetings with decision makers, planning and executing live demonstrations of our products.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in entertainment industry related field preferred, or 3 years prior sales experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working within the entertainment industry preferred.
  • Prior project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming moving light consoles and lighting fixtures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being highly organized.
  • Ability to foster a positive and cohesive team environment as well as work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time, working flexible hours all days of the week.
  • Proven experience in live event / production.
  • Knowledge and competence deployment of large format line array or familiar with the
  • Experience with large format line array L'Acoustics, D&B or PK Sound and Avid S6L consoles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
