We are currently seeking a skilled and licensed Mobile HVAC Technician to service a diverse portfolio of commercial and mixed-use properties across the Greater Toronto Area. The ideal candidate will hold a valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license along with a Gas Fitter 1 or 2 license. This mobile role is field-based and involves travelling to multiple sites to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and emergency response services for HVAC and gas-fired systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to various commercial properties to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and gas systems (e.g., RTUs, boilers, chillers, split systems, controls).
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and proactively identify system inefficiencies or potential failures.
- Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies, ensuring tenant comfort and system uptime.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain detailed service logs, work orders, and documentation using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Collaborate with on-site property teams and communicate service findings and recommendations to management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency service coverage.
- Support portfolio-wide initiatives such as energy optimization, equipment audits, and capital project planning.
- Valid Ontario 313A HVAC/Refrigeration license.
- Valid Ontario Gas Fitter 1 or 2 license.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
- Ability to work independently across multiple field sites with minimal supervision.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret service manuals and wiring schematics.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS tools is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle (vehicle allowance or company vehicle provided based on role structure).
