As part of our continuing growth, we are looking for experienced Project Coordinators to join our Underground Operations group to help in the day-to-day coordination and execution of our company's construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist the underground project manager/ superintendent in planning, scheduling, communicating, and monitoring project timelines while working with construction superintendents, crews and subtrades to ensure work is completed on-time in alignment with contract requirements.
- Includes collecting and verifying quantity measurements and test results and preparing documents and reports for project manager review.
- Monitor project deliverables making sure all crews and subtrades are completing work on-budget and to required municipal, provincial, and project specifications.
- Attend coordination meeting with clients, consultants, utility inspectors, and subcontractors. Provide regular updates on job status, issues, and progress.
- Ensure all site operations are compliant with all safety regulations and project requirements (such as traffic plans, environmental plans, site occupancy plans, etc.). This includes performing regular worksite inspections and working with support staff to ensure all documentation and reporting is taking place.
- Develop and maintain contract document compliance and schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in underground utility or heavy civil project coordination or project management.
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, construction management, or related discipline is preferred.
- PMP certification is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with filed staff, subcontractors, inspectors and stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, and familiar with project management and construction documentation software.
- Strong organization, time management and people management skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract (less than 6 demerits, no major infractions).
Pay Scale $25 - $32 per hour.
